This is going to be me in a year.

Hey everyone! So Just wanted to tell you about a couple new things I’ve been working on.
1. I’ve made some lathe tool holders (photos shortly).
2. Working on some room dividers with storage, tack board, and whiteboard.
3. Making a simple desk. Steel and cherry hardwood. Badass.
4. I’ll be posting photos and renderings of these projects shortly. A process video of the the desk will also be to your viewing pleasure, just as soon as I find a camera.
5. About to start some summertime design/art experiments with the infamous Zach Brown, and recently relocated rebel Kevin Roos. Guaranteed to be beautiful, weird, and on your wishlist.

Saw this on Notcot today. The TeslaTouch project was one that me and fellow designer Jason May worked on with the guys at Disney Research Pittsburgh. Granted Ivan Poupyrev, Olivier Bau, and Ali Israr had the technology down, I worked on concepts for the application of Tesla Touch, and Jason worked on the housing of the final prototype. Really cool application: 3D modeling. Think of being able to sculpt a model and feel stress points in real time. Other cool application: buying textiles. Feel how soft or abrasive fabrics are.

This has been a work in progress from my friends Charles Doomany and Luke Kambic, and it is finally finished. Any DJs out there should give them a call. Great work guys!

I Really like these drop-in ceiling tile lights. How many times have you seen a ceiling and been completed underwhelmed by it? Such a simple idea to change a space from boring and mundane, to completely refreshing and inspiring. On top of that, you could install these in a lame-o tile ceiling, and completely revamp the space.

Hello all, so as you can tell, I haven’t posted anything for a while. Here it is in a nutshell: I’m working at Quirky.com for two more weeks, I’m living in Brooklyn until then, I’d like to stay in New York if I can find a job, I have a new website up and running, sleeping on a cot is surprisingly comfy, I want to get back into a wood shop, and I would like to continue posting more regularly.
